The International Inter University Photography Exhibition (IIUPE XIII) 2024 was a big event in student photography, bringing together artists from all over the world. As a passionate photographer, I was honored to have two of my photographs displayed in this prestigious exhibition.
This year, IIUPE XIII, sponsored by The City Bank and powered by Flight Expert, had record-breaking participation. A total of 17,750 photographs were submitted by 436 photographers from 352 universities across 48 countries.
The exhibition was held across three countries, making it a truly international showcase:

Having my photographs displayed was an exciting moment, but attending the event in person made it even more special. I visited the exhibitions at the “Liberation War Museum, Dhaka” and the “North South University Exhibition Center”, where I got to see how people reacted to the photographs, including mine.
As I walked through the exhibition halls, I saw visitors stop in front of my photos, taking a moment to look at the details and think about the stories behind them. It showed me how photography is a universal language that connects people across cultures.
Beyond just showcasing my work, I took the chance to document the exhibition itself. I captured moments of visitors admiring the photographs, discussing compositions, and even taking inspiration for their own creative pursuits.
IIUPE XIII ended with the Closing Ceremony and Gala Night at North South University on January 31, 2025. It was a night of celebration, recognition, and reflection. A perfect ending to an amazing event.
Being part of IIUPE XIII 2024 was more than just an exhibition. It was a personal and artistic journey that strengthened my passion for photography. It was an honor to have my work showcased in three countries and to connect with people from different backgrounds through my photographs.
